St. Vincent & the Grenadines

Difficult to reach and with minimal tourism infrastructure, St. Vincent & the Grenadines have truly preserved the Caribbean “the way it used to be”.  Cruise ships and their passengers are not part of the scene here and an agricultural economy predominates with large portions of St. Vincent remaining undeveloped.  Visitors are usually steered to the Grenadines, an idyllic archipelago that have more conventional tourist appeal.  Canouan, Palm Island, and Young Island all offer luxury resorts that provide a base for exploring the Tobago Cays and other uninhabited islands of the Grenadines.  The Tobago Cays can also be visited via a day trip from Grenada.
